Want to know where your money will go?

Your money will help support the following: 

  • The funding of services and programs that address:
    • pediatric cancer treatment and research
    • kidney care and transplant
    • heart surgeries
    • traumatic brain injury recovery 
  • Provide access to experts in children’s health care right here in Richmond.
  • Increase the variety and quality of programs and services offered at Children’s Hospital to meet needs of all children. Priorities include:
    • Improve and advance dental care
    • Establish a Neurosciences Center for Excellence to help children with brain tumors, traumatic brain injury recovery and other neuromuscular anomalies
    • Research across many specialties with nearly 150 clinical trials underway
      • Active research happening in: asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, weight management, neuromuscular (brain) disorders, brain injury, newborns and their breathing.
      • Research is a great benefit of being part of a full health system. We are teaching the next generation of health care providers AND helping to discover and prescribe the evolution of care, medicine and treatment.
  • The purchase of items for mothers and their babies in the neonatal ICU (NICU).
  • The ability to offer of comfort items for children like teddy bears during their stay.
