Each weekday morning, Monday through Thursday at 7:30am, we share stories that really don't make sense with You Can't Make This Stuff Up with Wicker and Wilde

Please don't try this one at home.....or on the road.

When you just have to make it to Washington, DC, a golf cart may not be the best way to go.

A group of Maryland teen girls were desperate after missing their Lyft ride to Washington, DC, so they did the next NOT best thing…. stole a golf cart. Gregory Green caught the five girls driving down Route 50 in Bowie, Maryland.

He let them know, since golf carts are slow, that they were being unsafe. He offered to give the girls a ride, but they kept going and told him to stop recording as they covered their faces.

The driver of the cart bragged on social media so off course they got busted.

The Bowie Police Department confirmed the incident and said the five teenage girls on the golf cart were later taken into custody after being charged with stealing the golf cart from Alvista Bowie Apartments. Bonus: the girls were 15 to 16 years old.
