Wicker and Wilde wanted to share this with you after they came across the article this morning.  While reading a story about bagged salad making people sick across 11 states, Rebecca read that there is also a salmonella outbreak.  Thankfully Virginia isn't one of the states to have the bagged salad problem (yet) but we are one of the 23 states that have people gettiing sick with salmonella.

The CDC says hundreds of people have gotten sick, however, they haven't been able to identify the source of the illness which is terrible because we don't know what food to avoid.  Not only that but symptoms can take 2-4 weeks to manifest.  Oy!

Thankfully there have been no fatalities - symptoms include fever, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.

"The CDC advises anyone who might be experiencing symptoms to call a health care provider and report what they ate a week before becoming ill."
