Simple Ways To Celebrate International Self-Care Day

2020 is the year for self-care.

With coronavirus, unrest, and economic uncertainty happening, we need to take a step back and treat ourselves well. Since it’s International Self-Care Day, Wicker and Wilde wanna share some simple ways we can give ourselves a little love.

  • Drink plenty of water. It’s the fuel of life! - Especially with this heat. It's recommended that ladies drink 2.7 liters (about 3/4 of a gallon) and men should drink almost a gallon (3.7 liters).      
  • Check in with yourself by answering these questions: How did I feel this week on a scale of 1-5?    What made me feel this way?     What could I use more of in the coming week?    What could I use less of in the coming week?   What can I do to eliminate stress next week?
  • Don’t be afraid to say no.
  • Talk to your circle of support. - Whether it's family or friends or even a therapist, it helps just to talk to anyone who will listen to what's going on in your life.
  • Practice gratitude and give back.
