Earthquake? What Earthquake? We had an Earthquake Last Night!

Someone Wants To Know If You Felt It

September 23, 2019

If you felt a bit shaky around 11:55 Sunday night then you probably felt the 2.5 magnitude earthquake that hit Western Henrico County, about 15 miles Northwest of the Capital city.  If you feel a little left out don't worry.  The United States Geological Survey says quakes are not uncommon for the earthquake area which includes western Hanover, Louisa and Goochland counties.  In fact, the last one we had was in Louisa and it was a whopping 5.8 magnitude quake.  If you did feel it then the Survey would love for you to share your story with them.

There were no reports of damage with Sunday's quake.
