Odin is the type of guy that needs to get out and do stuff!! He loves toys and can entertain himself quite nicely with them. He likes to play tug but he does have an intense re-grip and could accidentally get your fingers! He is not be suitable for small children because of his rowdy play style. Odin likes dogs but he doesn't know how to play nicely. He needs to work on his manners while greeting a dog. He should not go straight into a home with dogs. Instead, he needs proper socialization first.

Odin has become very shelter stressed now that he has been with us for a while. He is an active dog and isn't getting enough physical or mental exercise here. He has a tendency to get overstimulated during play and needs an adopter who is comfortable and confident handling a jumpy, excited pittie. Odin is very smart and needs an adopter who will be in charge. He is much calmer/well behaved in a structured environment. Structure also builds respect. Once Odin respects you, he is a playful and affectionate. He will bring you his toys, look up at you for his next command, and he will walk like a gentleman on leash. He is a great dog for someone who has experience with training; someone who will not be intimidated by him, someone who understands dog behavior and how they think.
