Glory is a beautiful female yellow lab mix who is a young gal, somewhere around a year old. She came to us from a rural southern Virginia home where she was unwanted, covered in ticks, suffering from poor nutrition and almost feral. Nonetheless Glory had a twinkle in her eye and a real interest in learning about humans. In no time she learned that people were good, going inside meant cool comfort and that food and love were plentiful when you found people to care for you. We took Glory to our vet and found she was in pretty good health for the neglect she had suffered, though she had contracted ehrlichia, a tick-borne illness for which she is being treated. Glory would make a wonderful pet for most homes, and we will search to find just the right place for our special girl!

Glory has been spayed and microchipped, given initial vaccines and she has tested negative for heart worms. She loves people and does well with other dogs.

During this time of COVID-19 we are scheduling private outdoor meetings using safe distancing. All meetings take place at a park-like venue east of Richmond, VA. We ask that interested adopters first visit our website at www.carerva.com for information on our adoption protocols, and then email us at adoptions@carerva.com to schedule a private meeting.
