C.A.R.E. - Whitley

Whitley needs a home today!

July 12, 2018

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - WHITLEY. Whitley is an interesting fellow! Clearly a mixed breed, we feel like we see some Golden Retriever in his coat, Labrador Retriever in his face, and yet he has the overall shape of an Irish Wolfhound. This new "breed" is best known as an American Shelter Dog. Whitley is around a year old and weighs 40-50 pounds, most likely being fully grown. He came to us from a NC shelter where he had been a stray.

Sadly Whitley has heartworms, but we have started treatment. Luckily, he is a young fellow and should do very well without any long term consequences. He is otherwise in good health, up to date with vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Whitley is a happy guy who would make an excellent addition to most homes. Come meet Whitley and all our adoptable dogs at our adoption stand on Sunday from 11AM until 2PM. We will be at the Petco at Swift Creek, 13329 Rittenhouse Drive, Midlothian.
