Consider adopting Gretchen from C.A.R.E. today!

Gretchen is a darling YorkiePoo recently saved from a hoarding situation in rural southwestern Virginia. She is fully grown at just 6 pounds, and is believed to be around a year old. Gretchen was part of a hoarder's home and lived in pure filth before her rescue. Nonetheless, Gretchen is loving and trusting. We will only place Gretchen in a home that is quiet, without children, without other animals larger, and with owners able to give her consistent attention and socialization. She would be best suited to the home of a retired person, someone who works from home or perhaps is a home maker. We will not consider community living homes, including apartments and townhomes.

Gretchen is in good health, spayed and microchipped, up to date with vaccines, and she has been tested for heartworms and tick-borne illnesses. Come meet Gretchen and our other adoptable dogs at our adoption stand on Sunday. We will be at the Petco at Swift Creek, 13329 Rittenhouse Drive, Midlothian.
