Adopt Carly from C.A.R.E. today!

Carly is a beautiful border collie that came to us from a rural shelter about an hour outside Richmond. She and her brother, Marley, were two of several pups that appeared to have been in a feral or semi-feral situation before being caught by animal control. Here they have been very sweet and have grown from very frightened to becoming happy to see and interact with their human caregivers. We believe they are ready to be adopted and continue to grow in confidence and skills. They do not need to be adopted together, and will most likely be better suited to being separated.

Carly is believed to be around a year old. She is fully grown at about 35 pounds. Carly is in good health. She has been spayed and microchipped, given all her vaccines and tested (negative) for heartworms. Come meet Carly at our adoption stand on Sunday from 11AM until 2PM. The event will be held at the Petco at Swift Creek, 13329 Rittenhouse Drive, Midlothian. More adoption information at www.carerva.com.

Today's pet of the day is brought to you by Helping Hands Affordable Veterinary Surgery & Dental Care.
