- 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1 large yellow onion
- 1 jalapeno
- 1 can diced green chiles (optional)
- 1.5 tablespoons butter
- 2 14-ounce cans white beans, rinsed and drained
- 3.5 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- salt to taste
- ¼ cup cornmeal
- ¼ cup milk
