Get your team together for a day of friendly competition to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association!

Alzheimer’s is a brain disease that causes a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning skills. Memory loss that disrupts daily living, difficulty in completing familiar tasks, challenges in solving problems, and problems with time and places are some of the early signs. Research continues in the fight to secure funding to help find new treatment to stop, slow and prevent Alzheimer’s disease. Clinical trials, early diagnosis, a quest to finding new treatments, and new ways to delay its onset and to prevent it from developing are continuing. Family, friends, neighbors, community partners and others are joining the Alzheimer’s Association, the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office, and River City Roll to partner in the fight against Alzheimer’s. River City Roll will host the event on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12pm – 4pm. There will be sixteen teams of six joining in the fun! The fun doesn't stop there! This is a FREE event, open to all who wish to attend! Come out and cheer on the teams to get involved! With the support of community partners like the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office, River City Roll, and YOU, the fight continues to stop Alzheimer’s, and provide needed resources. Remember, the longest Day of Light is the Day We Fight.
