Update 12.10.2019:

A note from Richmond Animal League:

"Richmond Animal League is four days into our extended holiday adoption event, Operation Silent Night! Due to space made by adoptions so far, 15 animals have already been welcomed to RAL from partnering animal controls. See photos attached of the 4 dogs and mom cat with 2 kittens who arrived yesterday.

Since Friday, 28 pets have also been adopted!"

An event that began as a crazy idea in 2011 is now entering its 9th year, with a hope to find homes for homeless pets in Central Virginia this holiday season. Operation Silent Night is a holiday adoption event that enables RAL to ensure that every animal is home for the holidays.

During the event, fees for all adult dogs, adult cats, and kittens will be reduced to $10.

Dibs is at @virginiathismorning to talk about Operation Silent Night (starting TOMORROW!). And he met Father Christmas! Dibs had a long chat with him and asked for all kinds of wonderful things, including homes for all the homeless pet --
