Miracle of Christmas at the Metro Richmond Zoo

Miracle of Christmas, our nativity pageant, will be virtual this year.

Since 2003, thousands of families across Virginia have enjoyed the Miracle of Christmas, a live presentation of the Christmas story featuring animals from the Zoo. This free holiday event has become a family tradition and is our gift to the community.

Due to the current restrictions on gathering at events due to COVID-19, the Zoo is unable to host thousands of visitors for Miracle of Christmas in person this year.

For 2020, Miracle of Christmas will be presented virtually. You are invited to a special, Facebook Live presentation of the show.

A pre-recorded video of the pageant will be streamed here on the Zoo's Facebook page on December 21, 22, 23, and 24 at 7 PM.

We hope watching this pageant online helps you and your family feel uplifted by the spirit of Christmas during these unusual times.
