As Father's Day quickly approaches, Kat wanted to recount what she's grateful for!

The Richmond Flying Squirrels are inviting fans to bring their dads out for Father’s Day Catch on the Field on Sunday, June 21 at The Diamond. The team is currently accepting a limited number of reservations for half-hour time slots to play catch on the field at the stadium. Additionally, the Flying Squirrels are taking pre-orders for a Father’s Day To-Go Picnic.

2. Kudos for Care

"Kudos For Care, "honoring nurses on the front lines," has had great success since launching two weeks ago. We have raised nearly $650, attracted over 10,000 views and 300 followers to our Facebook, and had hundreds of visitors to our website.

We were so grateful that a story was broadcast yesterday on CBS6 about our efforts. Please check it out!"

3. Random Acts of Kindness with Midas of Richmond

For the whole month of June, Midas of Richmond will be rewarding 30 acts of kindness around Richmond. The owner of Midas of Richmond, Mark Smith, thinks the world could be a brighter place, especially in a grim setting.

“The whole month of June I want Richmond to go do what Richmond is so good at doing, and that’s creating the power of possible,” said Smith. “If we get 1,000 people to opt-in and do this in the month of June - 30,000 new random acts of kindness will happen.”
